Here is the bottom line: American Home Shield will find some way to either 1) not cover a repair or 2) attempt to fix the problem in the least expensive way possible. On the latter, note that “least expensive” means for them. If the repair is not successful, they move on to the next component/repair without regard for our inconvenience or your time. Both of my re[air experiences with AHS went badly, despite the glowing testimonials on their site.
And try to contact AHS. There is no email, except to set-up a repair request. Try to cancel? Good luck. Customer Service sends you over to a Retention department where the wait is over 15 minutes!
